The West Mediterranean Exporters' Association participated in the World Food Moscow Fair, which was held from 17 to 20 September in Moscow, before the upcoming vegetable fruit season. BAIB, which was opened booth in Turkey pavilion introduced food products, including products for export, especially fresh fruits and vegetables and citrus of the West Mediterranean during the fair. The BAIB booth was the focus of interest for food importers in Russia and neighboring countries during the fair.

The export family of the West Mediterranean was represented by Chairman of the Board of BAIB Mr. Hakki BAHAR, Members of the Board of BAIB Mr. Bahadir ERDOGAN, Mr. Süleyman DURAN and Mr. Süleyman TUNCER in Moscow. Chairman of the Board of BAIB Mr. Hakki BAHAR and Members of the Board met with Russian food importers who visited BAIB booth at the fair as well as representatives from Ukraine to India. Moscow Commercial Counselor of Turkey Mr.Feridun BASER also made a visit to the BAIB booth. In this visit, trade relations between Russia and Turkey were discussed and considered opinions aimed at increasing exports to Russia.
