West Mediterranean natural stone exporters have been giving special attention to USA natural stone market. In order to increase its natural stone export volume to USA, promote their products in Coverings Fair and have B2B meetings West Mediterranean Exporters Association, was in USA thrice in one year.

Participants of West Mediterranean Natural Stone Cluster Project which has been undertaking by West Mediterranean Exporters Association and supported by Turkish Ministry of Economy participated in Coverings Fair that held in Orlando / USA.

Coverings Fair was a success in terms of development of West Mediterranean region's natural stone export. Apart from attending the fair, the delegation visited important importer firms and investigate the market on site.

West Mediterranean Exporters Association was represented by Chairman of the Board Mustafa SATICI, Board Members Selçuk BAYSARI and Mehmet ÖZEL and Secretary General Fisun EVRENSEVDI PEKTAS.

8 firms of the URGE project participated in the fair with their own 16 square meters booths. B2B talks were made not only with American but also many other international representatives. The delegation also visited Rigo Tile firm which is one of the important importers in Orlando.

BAIB booth was visited by the New York Commercial Attache of Turkey, Mr. Özgür ÇELIKEL. He kindly shared valuable and critical information regarding the US market with the delegation.
