West Mediterranean Exporters Association(BAIB) organized a Food Sector Trade Delegation to Casablanca, Morocco, between December 14-17, 2025, to further increase exports in our food sector and develop alternative markets. 9 Turkish companies in the food sector participated in the delegation, meeting with 30 Moroccan companies in a B2B event on December 15, 2025.

BAIB was represented by Board Member Süleyman Duran. During the B2B event, where over 120 business meetings were held, our companies provided information about their products, production capabilities, and exports, seeking to establish business connections.

Türkiye's Commercial Attaché in Casablanca, Mrs. Burcu Özergül Çolak, also accompanied the companies during the B2B meetings.

Our companies held meetings with buyers and supermarket purchasing managers in the sector on also December 16, 2025.

It is expected our companies to increase their knowledge about the country's business traditions, production, logistics and supply chain structure to establish long lasting business ties.
