West Meditarrean's exports, encapsulating exports of Antalya, Burdur and Isparta provinces, have exceeded 1 Billion Dollars. In the last 7 months of this year, The West Mediterranean region's exports, demonstrating 2.2 percent increase compared to the same period of the previous year, have become 1 Billion 91 million 578 thousands and 110 dollars. In the region, 170 million 310 thousands 543 dollars worth exports have been done only in this year's July which shows 25 percent rise compared to 2018 July. While Fresh Fruit and Vegetables sector have done the most exports, China has become the country that the most exports being done in our region. This year, Ferrous and non-Ferrous Metals Sector is standing out with its export performance.

Despite showing 3.20 percent decrease compared to the previous year, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Sector have become the biggest exporting sector with 285,4 million dolar value exports. The sector's the most exported product has become tomato with 80 million dollars value exports. With introduction of fumigation method in exports to China, cherry exports from our region also stands out. Since cherry exports to South Korea, beside China, is going to start, the cherry exports is expected to grow significantly in coming years.
