Our association organized a sectoral trade delegation to Casablanca, Morocco, with the aim of further increasing natural stone exports from our region and creating alternative markets.

As part of the program, business meetings were held with Moroccan natural stone importers, and visits were made to the importer companies' workplaces and warehouses to gather information about their demands and trade volumes. Turkish Commercial Counselor to Casablanca, Burcu Özergül Çolak, accompanied our Western Mediterranean natural stone exporters in Casablanca and also gave an informative presentation to the participants before the B2B talks.

Our Vice President Harun Öztürk and Board Member Orhan Çiçek represented the Western Mediterranean region in Casablanca. 64 representatives from 35 Moroccan companies participated in the B2B meeting, and nearly 200 business meetings were held during the event. It was stated that the majority of the business meetings were positive and that new connections for exports are to be established.
